If I'm glad to be depressed, am I still depressed?

My shots went fine, I attribute the fact that I didn't pass out to the power of prayer and the fact that I couldn't hear anything since I had Underoath blasting on my ipod. 
I had a driving lesson this weekend, two hours of driving on real streets, pretty scary at first.
The party at Alison's house was cool, even after seeing that movie so many times

I'd never thought about emotions, either. What about memories? How did God come up with that concept for us, since He's timeless and doesn't actually need to remember anything, because it's all the same to Him? God is truly amazing.
