Wow a lot of stuff has happened this week....Let's see first of all we won our first tennis match of the Season, Woohoo! And, Ferg and I are team captains! Man that makes me feel old...I remember when I was a freshman how I looked up to the captains. Wow... four years just like that. Anyway, I got killed (as usual) but the team won and that's the ( Read more... )

I haven't seen Sword in the Stone, but I know that in the general King Arthur story, Merlin turns him into animals so he can learn various lessons. Disney has the tendency to bastardize stories. I can't think of many Disney movie that totally sucked the meaning out of a story.

http://www.punknews.org/print.php?sid=12864 it has no definite meaning...?

deja entendu confused me for a while there too...what's funny is that it means "already heard" but the band's name is brand new. basically they're making fun of themselves which is why it makes them so much more cool.

i could tell you were tired at rob's. you fell asleep in the chair...or it looked like it.
i'm really happy about you and tennis. and it sounds like its sooo much fun, so enjoy it...i'm sure you do.
and i think you needed to have a history with the sword and the stone to think it was funny...but basically that movie is disney's "knowledge is power" campaign disguised in arthurian legend crap. but its still funny.

hmm.
i agree with ariel that if you saw the movie when you were little you would have found it more funny. i loved it when i was little. but then i again i always loved animals so it was just cool to me.. i dunno.

two or three years ago at the pancake breakfast, roman (i dunno if you know him but whatever) was helping to make them and he put NAPKINS inside some of them to give out to certain people he knew. well (of course) one of the napkin pancakes got to the wrong guy!

Disney's the Sword and the Stone is classic to little kids, but I just thought it was endearingly geeky that a bunch of high school English students all popped it in at a party.
I am so happy about all of you guys and tennis, especially you and Ferg: captains! I know you guys will have an awesome year. Whenever I think about all the seniors on the team all how crazy you all are, I just smile.

I'm going to miss the Pancake Breakfast in future years. I wonder if Ferg's scar from that burn will stay with him.
