ah, i didn't even mean that you were affecting your own witness.
you're never a bad witness to anybody at all from what i've seen.
seriously, i hold you in one of the highest regards.
you don't even know.

i guess i shouldn't have said that at all... i definitely wasn't saying it to make you feel worse. i was just mentioning that it's what i learned from myself. cause i am a bad witness when i'm depressed.

but you.. you still look to God and you still post verses so that you can reflect on those and try to live by those and give yourself hope through them. and you're not irrational. you still realize that God is good and can do great things.

i believe someone can have joy but be depressed at the same time.
hmm you should read c.s. lewis' bibliography, surprised by joy.

sparknotes is really good for Hamlet :)
