ANNOUNCEMENTS
1) Remember, the ~*~ACTIVITY CHECK~*~ is still going on, so make sure you check in if you haven't already. Don't forget that LOGS ARE NOW OPTIONAL!
2) The HALLOWEEN PLOT needs to wrap up soon, so if you haven't finished your room thread (and I know a lot of people are on hiatus, so don't feel bad if it's still unfinished), try and wrap it up as best you can- it goes room, flames, mirror, then memory. Infer if you have to! Characters supposed to have vanished into the mirror can imply it happened to carry things forward, while you guys backtag the actual post. Go ahead and notice that your friends have vanished!

3) We've been seeing some new faces, so I'd just like to remind everyone that we have an ooc chatroom over AIM called templateooc, which anyone can join! It is full of delicious crazyness (we don't necessarily have to discuss things happening in game- anything from a plot you want to run, to what/who you ate for breakfast is fine), and if you aren't given a rollcall right off the bat, just beat Kat into submission. Or tell me and I'll get my favourite wooden plank. 8)
4) THIS NEWS POST IS OVER NINE THOUSAAA-well, actually… *ahem* I just wanted to remind everyone of the NEWSPAPER SUGGESTIONS POST. Notice we haven't had one over the past few weeks? This is because there have been too few suggestions, and I seriously doubt you'd want an entire post made of only my own ideas. Every little bit helps, and it's a fun way to fill the gap between characters and NPCs! plus I love seeing some of the things you guys come up with
5) Next Monday, all houses on Jamestown Street will suffer a sudden power outage. Just to bug you, this will only be explained in the newspaper the following Saturday.
There will be no electricity, water, heating, or any other necessities requiring power. Characters looking for a place to stay might want to direct their attention to one of the many hotels, if they can find a room not already occupied by an NPC. Or, you know, sold to one while you're sleeping in it. Which would be unfortunate.
The power will remain out until further notice.
As well, the neighbouring streets of Master Street and Wind Cliff Street will notice their power flicker early Monday morning, but come back on shortly after with no apparent problems. HERE is the housing list, for anyone needing to double-check their characters' living quarters and whatnot.

This month will be a bit of a light plot break, once we wrap up Halloween's! Keep your eyes peeled I almost typed peeling for a little treat on Thanksgiving, though.
That said, I'd like to see if I can get some volunteers for the December plot. It's a surprise as of now, but I'm warning muns in advance that you'll lose your character for a few days if you choose to take part. We'd be needing to see if around 8-10 crown marked characters and 8-10 cross marked characters will volunteer. This number may be increased if there's enough interest! I'll be taking official volunteers in a few weeks, but right now, I'd like to see how many people might toss one or two in.
Mortis is feeling hopeful. 8D
