As you guys probably remember better than me, the PLOT starts at midnight tonight! Below is a list of characters slated to vanish-or should I say, be kidnapped.
Yes, kidnapped. All rooms will show signs of a struggle, and characters living in the same house might even hear the sounds. If they’d like to make a pre-arranged post with the mun of one of the kidnapped characters, feel free- just keep in mind that none of them will know WHAT it is that’s attacking them.
So, the list. They’ll be gone for a week, meaning you can post with the group of them waking up in the church next Friday (not tomorrow... obviously).

cetraflowergirl Now, for the characters that remain! If you have a mark, it will feel like it’s burning.
And remember the locked place that is the Court Records Building? The doors will now be standing wide open. But, with a catch- a magical barrier stands in between characters and the inside. If your character has canon powers to get past it, they can! Examples being: Nobodies and their darkness portals, wizards that can apparate, DMC characters with powerful devil arms that can shatter the barrier entirely thus allowing others to enter, any character with the ability to teleport, and so on, be creative, I know you all are! If you’re unsure, just ask here.
Inside, there is a dark labyrinth. It exists only on the second level, so in order to access the first level again after entering, you’ll have to leave. Don’t forget the effects of the second level- characters will be more easily fatigued-because it will be full submersion inside the building whether or not they intend it. Venture deeper, and you might just witness visions of the missing characters’ deaths. It can be in any form; Falling off a cliff, drowning, etc...
Or, should that be too heavy, they may also choose to have their character hear echoes of the missing ones calling for help.
Those brave enough to reach the center, where a plain white alter stands, will gracefully pass the hell out. And wake up at the entrance again. However, after the plot, those characters will become marked. In the plot end post, you can kindly inform us of any characters you've gotten marked so we can update our own lists. Don't be in too much of a hurry to mark all yours- part of the fun is in playing unmarked characters, and they'll get their time to shine sooner than you think.
Like I mentioned above, the missing characters will be returned in a week’s time, waking up in the church with no knowledge of what’s just happened, other than the fact that an unknown something attacked them.
That said, let’s all try and get this rolling smoothly, ne? We don’t want it cutting into our Christmas plot time. Thank you to all that volunteered!
A list of the selected Christmas events will be put up at the end of this plot. Also, be on the lookout for a new community layout sometime in the next few weeks. I’m just making the finishing details. 8|b
ASK ANY QUESTIONS HERE AND I WILL ANSWER ASAP. I know plots can get confusing sometimes, but I... think I explained it decently enough. If not, hit me with a wrench and I will provide answers in return. Additionally, because this post wasn't long enough already, be on the look out for an IC plot start post from Mortis. It might come a little earlier than midnight. *ahem* So if it does, just pretend that it is, in fact, midnight.
ETA: Marking works in reverse, also- if you send a marked character in and they make it to the alter, they will become unmarked. That said, if you'd like them to keep their mark, you can always just say they got lost and never actually found the alter.
