HEY HEY YOU YOU

SO HAY GUYS GUESS WHAT.

THERE'S A PLOT COMING UP.

And when I say there's a plot coming up, I mean the Wonderland plot is starting on the 12th. That's Thursday. It will run for a week, ending the 19th.

We meant to give you a detailed explanation earlier, but weeeeeeee... didn't. So you're getting one now! Yay!

Okay so here's the deal. In case you didn't realize, this plot is based on the book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, by Lewis Carroll. If you don't know the book, it's okay, we're gonna walk you through the plot.

The way it's going to work is as follows: on Thursday the 12th, participating characters will start believing they are in a sort of Wonderland. In layman's terms, they start thinking that Template is crazy land. If you haven't read the book or seen the Disney movie, Wonderland is a sort of bright and colorful child's fantasy. Unfortunately, it's also populated by crazy people and, despite the bright colors, there is a dark undercurrent to the whole thing.

The participating characters won't be in a coma or physically transported in any way. They will actually think that Template is a Wonderland, and see it as such. All very psychological, dontcha know.

But wait! There's more!

The participating characters will fall into two separate groups. Group one is the Alice group. These characters will remain for the most part the same, exploring the wonderland, encountering strange creatures and people along the way. But it's not that simple. Throughout their explorations, the Alices will, in various ways, encounter representations of one of their greatest insecurities. This could come in many different ways. As a more general example, if one of their greatest fears was a fear of ghosts, then they would see ghosts everywhere. Whether the encounters are subtle, blatant, few, or many, is up to you, the player.

The big deal with the insecurities is this: if the Alice characters do not confront them, they have to stick out the entire plot length in their wonderland, with no escape except for the end of the plot on the 19th. However, if they do confront their insecurities/fears and overcome them before the plot is over, then they will be freed from their wonderland, and go back to normal Template life.

The second group of participating characters will be the Mad group. As an example from the book, these characters will be like the Mad Hatter, March Hare, Cheshire Cat, Queen of Hearts, etc. They won't actually be these characters, but that's the archetype we're going for. For those not versed in the book, these characters will have the abnormal, odd, and strange aspects of their personality exaggerated out of proportion. They will also see Template as Wonderland, but they won't have any insecurities to combat. Instead, they will interact with the Alice characters and generally confuse and antagonize them. They're not necessarily evil, per say, but they aren't necessarily helpful, either. For the Mad characters, there is no escape from wonderland. Not that they necessarily mind. But they'll be affected until the end of the plot.

For those not participating in the plot by being in either one of these groups, you can still interact with those affected, since they'll still be walking around. However, those affected will only be able to see and interact with the unaffected as if the unaffected were also part of the wonderland.

So that's the idea! There may be a few extra surprises during the plot, but they're surprises. >:3

Except for one, of course. The St. Patrick's Day plot, starting the 16th and ending the 18th will be happening at the same time as the Wonderland Plot. This one is really simple. For those three days, everything will be green. Clothes, street, light, skin, eyes, sky, that's right, everything will be green. This includes everything in Wonderland, too.

So that's what we've got, kids.

If you are planning on participating in the Wonderland plot, PLEASE REPLY TO THIS POST with the character (or characters) you want to participate, and which group they'll fall into.
