Cliche

Good things come to those who wait. Yes, this is an old cliche that is one I've always scoffed at while wondering when my ship was going to come in. yeah never. It's the word with a quantum duplicate that tends to make everything you thought wasn't going to happen actually happen. But since the universe is governed by many laws, one of them probability, I would say that there is a link between these to constructs that is yet to be shown true. I'm awaiting the impirical evidence still but as it stands, 'never', or it's 'evil twin', seems to only make itself known at certain times. I think it has to do with the sincerety of the person claiming to make this 'never'; that people who say it hoping for the oppisite are almost always sorely dissapointed while the ones who wholeheartedly believed what they said had the antithesis come upon them. A paper needs to be done on this phenomenon.
