I really liked this! A wonderful little moment. I could hear Hal's voice so clearly, especially when he tells Annie she's not touching his head :) And I love what you did with the origami.

Thank you. I'm still getting accustomed to writing our new trio, but the showrunners have made it easier for me by creating an absolute treat of a character in Hal, and by getting someone as unnervingly talented as Damien Molony to play him.

This is a really wonderful fic. It makes me want to write about Hal and his origami. It's a perfect hobby for him :) This is full of wonderful images which I adored. Thanks for sharing :)

Thank you for commenting. I love that Hal is already so vividly realised as a character in the show; every detail just seems to fit, from the mannerisms to the diction to his interactions with his fellow housemates. It's great fun to watch and think about.

Agreed. Hal is so well realised and as it's his actor's first TV job, I am hugely impressed by him. I especially love his dynamic with Tom. What can I say, I might possibly be looking with slash goggles ;)

The whole origami angle has given me ideas for fic. If I include the detail of Hal making decorations for Eve's room, would that be okay? Totally understand if the answer's no.

I'm loving the way his character is playing out. I can only hope that the writers hold off on any more tragic fates for a while; the new trio had better be here to stay!
