I've had similar incidents on trains in Boston with Red Sox/Patriots fans. They NEVER know what stop they're getting off to, drunker than W.C. Fields' mother, and most of them wear ill-fitting jerseys. Some of the more rowdy Sox fans chase people wearing Yankees hats and try to beat them up. When the Patriots won the S(t)uper Bowl, there were riots and one kid got killed.
Let's hear it for pro sports!
Again ironically, the hockey fans are always polite when out in public. Maybe it's because they see all kinds of blood and violence during the game...
I always want to just slice open all the football fans when I see them. But then I guess that would make me as bad as them, which is probably why I only think it rather than do it.
...the difference being that you don't act on it. ;) Perhaps Devo was correct-- we're evolving in reverse! It certainly feels like it after certain games get out.
At least you don't have to deal with the American football fans. They drive me crazy. Although it sounds like ALL football fans act the same way, regardless.....
Yes, I think it's just sports fans in general. Maybe we should ban them all, or move them all to the same city and build a big wall around them, their stadiums, and their drunken retardedness.
