Undergoing Rapid Developments

It seems like everything has changed completely in the last week. At least at school. I think part of it is that it feels like the pace picks up immensely as the school year nears the close. We are now 4 days away from the beginning of Summer Break, and my head is spinning ( Read more... )

You know, that might not be as bad as you think. Not having to have a homeroom and stuff. :) I know I personally don't miss advisory period (which is our equivalent).

New Century - I'm sure I've heard of that before. I should ask my math teacher if we've ever used that here in NYC. :)

Well, I will still have to do a sort of advisory period in Focus - But I already know what that will be like, and given that they may give me the computer lab for it, it will be /really/ fun to teach it. THAT class I have a curriculum for. We use standards- and research-based progress-monitored stuff. The material actually isn't half bad, and it's designed to teach stuff the kids didn't get the first time around. We'll have to see how well they do, but it means I don't have to worry about planning a whole lot ;) Which is good, because if what I've seen is any indication, I may be designing the curriculum as I go. XD
