ok sooooooooooooo i've been drawing a lot lately.
a lot of fashion illustration... trying to define and streamline a personal style.
it's coming along i guess.
i scanned a few in, 3 originals and three gucci...

hope you dont mind my commenting considering i found your journal through a friend, either way too bad, youre getting a critique (im getting a ba in illustration, third year) ok first, which has nothing to do with your style, we are never allowed to use pencil crayons (or markers for that matter).
hmm the main point is, you arent capturing any sort of feeling or movement. each picture feels extremely static and forced, like you were using a template and coloured it in. try varying your lines for example. you cant be so conservative, try exaggerating everything moreso. youll know youre doing it right by how much fun youre having creating it! haha this is all from a constructive viewpoint. hope you at least found it a bit helpful?

I draw people like shit. I can sow you sometime if you like. I wish I could just sketch up people that well.

At the time you were writing this, I was laying in my bed trying to sleep (as i had been since 1:10AM) but i had such a headache i couldn't get to sleep until 6AM. When my alarm went off for school at 7AM I said screw it. I skipped class and then I called in sick for work and slept until 1PM. Now I feel like it's morning and it's almost 5PM!
