[An unmarked cassette tape. It begins with 3 and a half minutes of almost complete silence, save for some muffled background noises.]
Bob is gone. I've made a terrible mistake, not asking her earlier.
Snake is gone. Goroh has came and went. The only one left for me here is Vianca. I'd still like to get information from Dr. Emmerich. Mei Ling is here, too. I have reason to believe she might know something interesting, too.
[There's a pause.]
I've been thinking about Zero's AIs. If I'm really going to eliminate them, I'll need some help. If Snake were here, I'd go to him. [A quiet sigh.] I'll have to ask Dr. Emmerich what he knows about Snake's location.
Keeping these tapes have helped me organize myself while I'm at this school. Maybe I'll send them to you, one day. [A sad laugh, and the tape ends a few seconds after.]
Did everyone have a nice summer break? Save for the school-wide vacation, the library hasn't closed this summer; so nothing of interest over the break from me.
