God, I love a good thunderstorm. There was a beautiful one outside a little while ago -- the kind of lightning that ripples across the entire sky, rather than just flashing briefly. It's dying down now, which is why I'm inside

Whereabouts do they live in Philly? I really only know West Philly coffeeshops. The Sattelite at 50th and Baltimore is by far my favorite in terms of food, coffee, and atmosphere; it's where all the local punks, activists, and nerds tend to hang out. They have awesome sandwiches and wraps, and it's the kind of place you can go and hang out for hours and they don't mind. The Green Line at 43rd and Baltimore has live music some nights, and is less of a cave than the Sattelite. There's also The Other Green Line at 44th and Locust, which is owned by the same people, and also has live music, although not as much seating

I should probably just send them your way, since I don't have a clue about where they're moving other than "Philidelphia". That's actually a step up in precision, because until the other night I just knew it was "Pennsylvania somewhere".

I'll ask them next time I talk to them, which may not be for a couple of weeks. They're moving into a new apartment building, and they're the first ones getting their phone turned on in the complex, so they don't know how long it's going to take to get everything activated.
