Sorry for trampling in on your journal. When I saw from your "darkest night" reply in the Neil Gaiman feed post that you're a musician, I thought I would ramble over and check you out.

This is a really excellent gift idea. I think I must try it at some point.

What type(s) of music do you play? Your profile mention piano, the icon showed you playing guitar.

Oh, you're more than welcome. :) I'm glad you recognized it as a guitar; a lot of people have told me that it looks like I'm holding a rifle, which always makes me laugh.

I don't really update that often, and my user profile could probably use a complete overhaul. I mostly just play piano and guitar, but I enjoy fiddling around with pretty much anything musical. I've been playing piano for a lot longer than guitar, though. I think it's fair to say I mostly have an affinity for stringed instruments.

I mostly play classical music on both, though I'm trying to teach myself some jazz/blues improvisation on both. I really enjoy playing pretty much anything, though.

LOL. great idea. a customer came in my work buying plaster, paper mache and nylon netting to wrap a gift card. i told them that they are giving me ideas for next year!!!!
