Guess what this is?

This is what happens when you crap 170+ gamers into an EB Games for the 12:01 release of the World of Warcraft expansion. :) (It was remarkably orderly.)

No, there was really no need for me to go to the 12:01 release of this game, since I won't get to play it much for the next week or so. And everyone said it was pointless to do. But I wanted to anyway, and so I did.

I've had a busy few days, and today's been especially long. I'm pretty much flattened.* Here's how my weekend went down:
Saturday: Work in the afternoon, math homework all evening.
Sunday: Homework That Was Much Harder Than It Should Have Been. Also, I got new shoes. Went to bed at the obscenely early hour of midnight.

Today:
Well, today. It's been a long day.

I went in to work at 8am, because I knew I was going to have to leave work early to go to my math professor's office hours. I also had a deadline that I had to meet by tomorrow for work. I jaunted off for a bit to pre-order the aforementioned video game, then worked until 4 and went to office hours.

4-6pm was some intense financial hoodoo. The homework really shouldn't have been as hard as I was making it, but I made some dumb mistakes even after talking to him. Class ran from 6 until 9, then I grabbed coffee and headed back to work until midnight to finish all the work I had to do for this deadline.

Then I headed to get my video game. :) I waited, mostly listening to Black Mages on my iPod, for about 45 minutes. And all this in new boots, no less. My feet are killing me.

Upon arriving home, I installed the game and took a much (MUCH) needed shower. And now I'm exhausted and every ounce of common sense is telling me to get some sleep.

So naturally, I'm going to play video games for the next few hours. :)

There's something really satisfying about such a full day, even when you're left feeling wiped out at the end. And especially when you get the bonus of a much-awaited reward at the end of it.

* Metaphorically speaking, not topologically. My form is suitably lumpy and bulbous that I can say with a fair degree of certainty that I retain all three dimensions.
