moving

I'm not a fan of moving, but I always love the stuff that gets unearthed as part of the process.

For example, I found a card my aunt sent me on my 13th birthday, with the following inscription:

"I can't believe you're a teenager now! Seems like just yesterday, you were lying in your crib reading books!"

It's funny because it's true. :)

You got love letters? That kind of puts my stack of hate mail to shame.

But I bet I at least got more of it than you got love letters!

As love letters or hate mail? ;)

I was just talking to a friend the other day about how many people will call up someone who doesn't want to talk to them, generally an ex-friend or lover, to try to "apologize and set things right", even though the ex would probably be much happier never hearing from the person in question. In that vein, I wonder if your love letter isn't one of the truest love letters out there. :)

I think I subconsciously miss the days when just reading set me apart from my peers. It's sad I barely remember what were, apparently, my glory years.

I don't miss those days, really, I just wish more people understood just how AWESOME we are because of being able to read so early.

Right? Right?

Is that early, or late?
