The opera ended up going really well, I was suprised at how well it turned out. My mom, Betsy, and my best friend in the world, Katrina, came to the show! Not much is new today... I had my first performance of the opera, which was cool. Unfortunately, I started feeling really sick yesterday... can't talk, can't swallow, etc. It figures- I feel fine all week of dress rehearsals and the day before the show I feel like utter shit. I sang 2 concerts with the Dayton Philharmonic on Friday... we did a Bach motet (Jesu, Meine Freude). We've pretty much worked on it all quarter and I can honestly say that it's the hardest piece of music I've ever attempted.
