It's weird, I remember the southeast as being very humid this time of year. Since I've lived here I just don't feel it like I used to as a kid. Charlotte gets humid at times, but I love that it's not so in your face as it is in places like Atlanta or Jackson. It helps to make the adjustment easier as summer comes, and it allows me to be outside so much more than I was the whole time I was in Jackson. That was another thing that I loved when I was a kid (Louisiana was a bit better because we at least had a gulf breeze to stir up the humid air) and that I've already recreated here.
