Mad props (and $100 in merch sales) to Rich Burlew, for proving (again) that even simply illustrated web-comics can tell awesome stories. I can't embed the strip that inspires this, because without back-story it lacks the weight it hit me with. You may wonder "what twisted purpose does getting her hooked further on webcomics serve". That's the joy of being Mad: You don't have to know. I don't have to know. It could be step #247 of a decades long plot to rule the world. It might even be just because I like webcomics, and feel the need to share. It's a bit like being a cat, but without all the hanging about in dangerous boxes over minutia of subatomic theory.
