I hate that I'm so jealous.
When I know that my husband is having email converstions with girls that used to(?) have jumbo-crushes on him, it drives me absolutely batty.

I trust him. I know he isn't going to go out and have an affair or whatever, but I'm still jealous.It's like, why the hell do you NEED to talk to other girls

Let me give you another take on this train of thought: Speaking from personal experience only, I have lost a number of female friends because the guys they were dating or got married to at the time demanded that they dump all their male friends, because the new guy on the scene was jealous. It sucks to lose friends you have been close to for years and shared good times with simply because your a guy. From my point of view it is the spouse being unreasonable and harming a friendship that poses no real threat to him, I would think his jealousy poses more of a threat to their happiness than anything I posed.
