Welcome, my dear camucks. Today, I'd like to start by a nice bit of verse; for those of you following along, please open your hymnals to Hamlet, II.ii.
(
I will tell you why; so shall my anticipation
prevent your discovery, and your secrecy to the king
and queen moult no feather. )

So far, we have gathered it breaks down into "camel" and "duck," probably back from the era where magic was prevalent and commonplace. (European Middle Ages, best guess, unless we're looking at nature spirits...)
My original theory was something akin to a platypus, though I'm no longer sure. I'll have to confer more with my companions and do some preliminary sketches.
