Does the top come off easily by any chance? I might be interested, but it looks like it would be hard to get it into my basement. Also, what are the dimensions of the tv hole?

The top does not come off, but it is fairly easy to disassemble.
I'll get the dimensions tonight, but it should hold any reasonable TV. The top shelf in the picture is removable and I think adjustable to some extent.

The tv area is 41 1/2 by 41 1/2 with the shelf removed and 41 1/2 by 34 1/2 with the shelf on it's highest set of pegs.
