Was Lightroom worth it? Does it do all the Photoshop stuff that a normal person would care about? Can you do layers, cloning, etc. or just brightness / contrast / saturation type things?
I d/l'd Photoshop, I couldn't handle paying $600 for something I'd use practically never. Yeah I"m evil, sorry to any software coders out there. But $200 for something useful, I wouldn't mind at all.
Lightroom only does adjustments on the entire picture (except croping) So no layer or pixel based stuff. The good news is that it never actualy changes the original image. The only time that the changes become permanint is when you export it.
From the stuff that I've done with it it is worth every penny. P.S. If you qualify for the education version it's only like 95$.
