Today, it smells like Pepe Le Pew has taken up residence under our kitchen. Mom's talking more about having him/her trapped and taken out to the country. Logically, I know s/he probably should be out there, I would hate to have him/her get hit by a car or something, but I haven't been able to get myself to make the call.
Sorry to hear the company woes. :( FWIW I loathe that bear!
Is it that musky smell or has she been squirting? And unfortunately, they do get hit by cars. They assume everything will give way to them because of their smell/markings. Poor things. If you waffle about making the call for a couple more months, they tend to disperse in the fall anyway. She'll probably leave then.
Not too many adults I know have watched Toy Story 3 so they are totally unaware of the humor/scaryness of the situation. I can only hope he'll end up on the grill of a dump truck someday.
I've 35 years seniority plus I'm one of about 14 of 50 RTs that can staff the NICU. I'm not going anywhere--though I wish I had made it into that group that was offered early retirement. It's been 35 years and the job gets harder every week. I've had enough. Looks like I've got years to go yet. :(
Hey, did you go see Harvey yet? I want to know all about it!
It's just the musky smell - I didn't think it was too bad, it's just that it happened to be right under the kitchen.
Pepe doesn't seem too inclined to spray, thankfully. I didn't realize s/he was on the porch the other evening until she went by me to try and escape off the porch. One of the kittens got in her way and startled her and given the view I had of her rear, I was afraid we were both going to be in for it. *g*
{{{HUGS}}} Wish you could've gotten the early retirement, too. Maybe it will come up again when you do qualify.
Harvey was wonderful. I really need to sit down and make a detailed post about it - I'll try to remember to do that tonight after work. :)
LOL! Yeah, they've pointed their butts at me a few times and you can see the little spigot is ready to go off. It does give you pause. I've had to clean up two cats who were sprayed.

Good luck with work. It sounds awful. We just had some part-time hours cut, but no one's lost their jobs.

There are a couple of young skunks that seem very relaxed around us. Thankfully that was one of them.
