a little snow would be nice

We are having our second snow day here.  This is when I get fed up with the Southern snow novelty situation.  Yesterday we had a heavy duty winter storm warning, 90% chance of snow turning to ice... never happened.  So kids were stuck home with grumpy me, trying to work, afraid to take them out because at any moment the roads were going to turn

Happy Feet was surprisingly fun. Confusing in final message but very cute.

I think we will go see Arthur and the Invisibles and then this afternoon hit family swim time at the Y pool. That keeps us moving and I will not have to yell quite as much.

We just went and saw Stomp The Yard which was surprisingly excellent in that Breakin'/Electric Bugaloo meet Revenge of the Nerds way.

we missed the snow except for a very thin layer of ice that rich did not see when he went outside to get sage for the eggs. he went down the front steps on his back.
