Scene 2 - It is an honour that I dream not of

Oct 09, 2008 09:43

The dreary mist hath lifted, as friend Silk did predict, and from mine window the whole of a city doth stretch before me.

Good Tybalt! I would walk in it, and learn the paths and shape of things. My new home, though home it be for only this brief while, should not a stranger be.

walk on the beach, gren, romeo candore van de montague, caspian, learning the city, cousin tybalt, tybalt is overprotective

That's a pretty way of saying the fog is gone.

Thy words are kindness, sir, but mine are nothing of note.

They're like a song. Lilting and lyrical.

And thine are filled with flattery, tho I find it not in my heart to protest.

Are you a friend to good Tybalt, my lady?

Kin of the same house, and cousins, my lord. And you are friend as well?

But friend is kin enough, let blood matter not! Friend of Tybalt is mine as well. My name is Juliet, my good lord Caspian, and well met.

Pray wait but a little. My hours juggling trays and cups grow shorter. I will escort thee. Together we will walk wherever you wish.

I should await thy escort cousin, but another has made his offer. I walk with good lord Gren to see the beach.

And what is Gren? I have not met him nor exchanged words.

I feel certain he be a man, cousin, though I shall not be assured of this 'til we meet. He tells of a beach, I wish to compare its beauty to that of Verona.

Have you found Tybalt and he's helping you to settle in? Those are great news, Lady Juliet! I wish my brother was here. He's also called Tybalt but that is the only likeness with this one.

Aye, I have! Fortuna favors me and brings kin to kin even in places foreign. May it be that thy brother shows soon, I should pray for this had I sister or brother to keep by my side.
