Create a playlist for your character. Songs that someone might listen to in order to get a better feeling or 'vibe' about who your character is. Or how you see them. Songs for Anika-Amadi:

Dire Straits: "Brothers in Arms" (Live Version) This was her original song, and the song that I think just embodies her spirit. I play it a lot when I write her.
Kelis: "Acapella"
Adam Lambert: "For your Entertainment" For Hawaii and getting drunk for prob the first time in her life, going clubbing with Neph and almost getting in trouble with the Police! This is the 'finally cutting loose and dancing' Anika (which we never get to see, unfortunately)
Rihanna: "Complicated"
Adele: "Turning Tables" &"'Set Fire to the Rain" (when she was getting over N_P_R I played these a LOT)
Florence + the Machine: "Shake it Out" (Getting over N_P_R) I play this a lot as well.
Asa (Asha): "Why Can't We"
Lira: "Feel Good"
And finally Sabaton: 'Ghost Division' for when she's on her motorcycle, riding way too fast and taking way too many chances.
