Ten and Thanksgiving

Happy Hanukkah and Turkey Day to yall who celebrate! I managed to get both a traditional-ish turkey dinner and some pumpkin pie into me today, so even though I spent much of the day by myself, I still feel as if I celebrated in my own way

I think you have it 100% backwards about TG and Christmas movies, though? The TG ones are always about holiday angst, like Avalon? Ebert even commented on it here:
