Hi 'bekah! My deepest condolences for Caisha; admittedly, I don't really like animals all too much (they scare me, frankly-- even the cutest ones) (pandas can be vicious, man!), but it's always an unfortunate event when someone you love passes on.
Regarding life and LiveJournal, though-- dude(tte), me too. I wish I wrote as much as I could into my LiveJournal, and not just to vent, but just to record the good and bad things that happen in my life. Now, I don't really look back in my social network/blog things of any kind, but I guess it's just nice to have, you know? People (or people I'm around) say it's so great/bad that the Internet records pretty much everything we do or say, but a whole bunch of that is wildly ephemeral. Words on a page, written on something like LiveJournal, seems to me a much more capable record.
But then again, I'm just ranting. Happy new year, Rebekah. Let the happy times be many, you :)
I think the problem is when we record everything. Like: "Today I ate cereal. Just fyi. For posterity, you know? Cereal is totes important! Omg." Like I care. :P
Now things like this? I would say they are important enough to broadcast. I don't know. I like to know what I was doing at such and such time of my life. I mean, looking back at my very first livejournal, it's SO obvious how much I changed. Mostly because... I... talked... like this... and like.. omg.. I was.. just.. SO.. cool. I can't even do it anymore. I talked like a child. I barely recognize it as my own voice. But it WAS. And that is what I find so cool! I don't know. It's early and I have to go to work.

^_^ Hee, I'm just as crap at communication so don't feel bad! I'm doing good, just doing a countdown until my last day of work at evil Staples and then I'll only have my internship and school to focus on.
Well, I'm glad you have something good to look forward too! i.e. the destruction of crappy jobs. Yay! I was SO glad when I got out of my old job where I felt treated like shit.
I'm REALLY well, to be honest. Other than.. this whole post. I love my job, I love my coworkers and my bosses. I love my girlfriend more than life. Illinois is on the track to get Civil Unions in June or something, so we're going to do that instead of getting married in another state. Though, we did contemplate Mass. for a little bit. :P
I feel very content and settled. There are a few bumps, but I finally feel like an adult, maybe a little. It's about time. I'll be 25 in five months. Oh god..
