Ryoma made a small face at that, and looked at Kevin, deadpan.

"My fleas keep me company."

He coughed into a handkerchief.

"What's with the bag?"

Kevin flashed a quick grin. "What are you, a dog?"

He pulled out a notebook and folder, passing over some papers to the other boy. "Just came back. Got your notes and homework for you."

[crashndash]

"Woof."

It was funny how he could forget that he actually was in a school. Spending too much time in the infirmary sometimes made him think that he was in a hospital instead, and therefore, he tended to forget his homework from time to time. It... was also rather convenient for him. That was why he was confused for a moment, blinking at the papers before taking them.

"Huh? Oh. Hey man, thanks. That's cool." He placed the papers in his lap. "So like... You were looking for me?"

Kevin merely shook his head at the sound. Ryoma was a weird fuck sometimes.

"Yeah, no problem." He studied the other boy's face, noting the confusion there. He wondered if maybe he'd had a high fever earlier or something. "No. Just passing through. Our teacher put me on a project with that redhead."

Ryoma wiped with the back of his hand over his eyes and then frowned.

"That redhead...? You mean Kin-chan?"

He lowered his hand and looked pointedly at Kevin.

"Please tell me the two of you have made up by now."
