It was rare for Atobe to make an appearance at an event that he himself wasn't hosting. His schedule was enough to make any man collapse from stress or exhaustion, or both. However, he wasn't going to let that effect what was left of his social life. And so long as he father didn't start getting on him to find a woman to marry and empregnate, he was good. Besides, despite how he acted, he did find An to be a decent person and she, her baby and the father of the child deserved happiness. She deserved to have something Atobe Keigo had never gotten, a family. So, he arrived in all the pomp and cirmconstance befitting an Atobe Heir ( ... )

An actually couldn't believe that Eiji had put together all of this. This had been all a surprise to her and she was really glad to have such great friends who would do this all for her. Oddly enough she was feeling shy, what with all the attention that was on her..well more like on the baby that was hiding out in her womb. More then anything An hoped everyone was having a good of a time as she was.

Leaving her girlfriends on the sofa who seemed to be very much enjoying some of the eye candy that was around them, An decided to go and walk around and be social. She had been pretty lazy as of late but no one could blame her, she was almost 8 months pregnant. Who wouldn't be tired walking around all day with swollen feet and a big tummy. Blinking lightly, she spotted Atobe near the common room door. To be honest, she was surprised he came. Walking a few steps towards him, she waved with a big grin on her face. "Funny seeing you here."

Waddling...Tachibana An was waddling towards him. He'd never had much contact with women other than the girls at school, and let alone pregnant ones. He strode towards her, looking completely confident. Like he was supposed to belong there. Like he went to this sort of party all the time.

"Tachibana-san." He greeted, always formal with her. "I had heard that pregnant women are supposed to glow. You are positively radient." He complimented, knowing that his usual snark might not be welcome.

Yes, she was a duck and there was nothing she could do about it. Some said it was rather endearing, but An figured that it didn't really matter even though it annoyed her somewhat.

Her mouth twitched. "An..just call me An." What was with Atobe and his need to call her by her last name? An couldn't help but snort at his compliment. "I'm practically a disco ball."
