Title: You Home Already?
Rating: G
Summary: Ikko is tired and so is Taito. Ikko's place is closer to Taito's working place so he crashes over.
A/N: Friendship fic! I watched Supporter's DVD Vol. 14th yesterday and when Taito delivered his thank you-mini speech for Ikko, I had to write this. Unbeta-ed so all mistakes are mine.

Ikko leaned his head against the bus window. It was almost nine o'clock and the bus had a sleepy, calm mood that made Ikko feel drowsy. Or perhaps it was because of the rehearsals, were everyone was trying to be better than previously and at the same time laugh and pull pranks. He had originally agreed to take part in the play mainly because he would work with most of Seigaku 5th cast again and less because the role was something he really wanted to play. Together with everyone, it was going to be a play he would remember long after it was over.

His phone buzzed and interrupted his thoughts. Sitting up, Ikko fished the phone out from his pocket. He had gotten an e-mail from Taito.

”You home already?” it said simply and Ikko smiled. Taito must have been tired to send such a short e-mail and without any emoticons too; the man had no problems putting more emoticons in his e-mails than actual text.

”Almost”, Ikko wrote. He rubbed the side of his head and wondered when was the last time he had actually seen Taito. It seemed that no matter what they did, their schedules always ended up clashing. Hopefully Taito would be able to come and watch their play. Surely his filming schedule would allow that?

His phone buzzed again.

”I have the morning off (troubles with extras). \(^ー^)/ How's your day?” Ikko went through his schedule in his head, his rehearsals would start at 10. Maybe time for some quick breakfast, if Taito felt up to it.

”I need to be at work at 10. What did you have in mind?”

”You think I could crash at your place then? (^_^;) My shooting location is closer to your place than mine. (≧∇≦) (・ω・ ) ”

Ikko raised his eyebrows, now completely awake. ”Sure but I don't have any food in my place so I hope you're not hungry.”

”You need to eat properly! (>_<) I'll buy something on my way there. See you soon! (^▽^)ノ”

It seemed Taito had gained some of his usual energy, at least if the emoticons were any sign of that, Ikko smiled to himself. He put his phone back to his pocket and drummed his fingers on his leg.

Soon enough he got off the bus and after a five minutes walk, he was in front of his building. Taito was already waiting for him, standing next to the wall, suppressing a yawn into his hand.

”Sorry for making you wait,” Ikko apologized when he had gotten close enough not to shout. Taito waved his hand. ”It's okay, I haven't waited for long. I bought some quick ramen, I hope that's okay?”

”And you're the one always telling me to eat properly...” Ikko trailed off and grinned to Taito when he hold the door open. Taito made a face to him. ”I was going to make some real food but I would probably fall asleep before it was ready,” he said while they entered the elevator and Ikko pushed the button to his floor.

”Admit it, you got lazy,” Ikko yawned and smiled to Taito. Taito made again a face but smiled then warmly. ”It's been a while, hasn't it?”

”Yeah. Work going good?” Ikko asked. Taito nodded. ”Can't complain. Everyone is really nice at the set. Tomorrow we were supposed to shoot a big crowd scene but someone had told the extras the wrong day so it got canceled. Instead they're filming the afternoon scenes in the morning and won't need me.” Taito explained while Ikko opened the door. ”Sorry for intruding”, he muttered mainly because of habit when he took off his shoes and put them next to Ikko's.

”You get to do lots of fight scenes?” Ikko took the plastic bag Taito was carrying from him.

”Not yet but soon. How's Yuuko?”

”Great, just great. It's great to work with everyone again. It almost feels like Tenimyu, just with you, Ryuuki and Toshi are missing.” Ikko said and put water to warm up. Taito sat down on a kitchen chair.

”I hope you can get me a ticket then, I want to see it”, Taito smiled warmly and leaned his elbow against the kitchen table. Ikko leaned against the kitchen counter.

”Just say which day is good for you and I'll make sure there's a ticket waiting for you,” he promised. Taito nodded and yawned. ”I'm sorry, I woke up at five today,” he apologized. Ikko smiled gently. ”It's okay. Now, food?

”Yes please.”

Ikko poured some water in one of the ramen cups. He gave that and the chopsticks that had come with it to Taito who started to eat it eagerly. ”So good,” he said with his mouth full. Ikko snorted and poured water into his own ramen. ”You want to eat in front of TV?” he asked and Taito nodded. Ikko took two water bottles with him and followed Taito to the living-slash-bedroom where Taito sat down on his futon, making sure to keep his feet off of it. Ikko put the water bottles down and flipped the TV on. They settled to some movie which neither one recognized and ate their ramen in comfortable silence, with only the sounds from TV filling the room with noise.

After they had finished their food, they chatted about what had happened since the last time they had seen, Ikko told how Baba-chan was, if possible, even more hyper now days and Taito told him about the new project D-Boys was going to do for Christmas. ”Pretty clothes and glitter, eh?” Ikko teased and Taito slapped him on the shoulder gently. ”The fans like it,” he shrugged and added with a smirk ”and besides, I look good with glitter!” He then asked if it was true Tsuji and Shouta were doing another play together and what Ikko would do after Yuuko was over. This was something Ikko had always treasured; how easy it was to talk with Taito and how no matter when they had last seen each other, it always felt like no time had passed. They could pick up right where they had left it.

Soon however Taito started to yawn wider and Ikko felt his eyelids growing heavier. They took the now empty ramen cups and water bottles to kitchen and while Taito was in the bathroom brushing his teeth (”the brush you used last time is still there, I figured you'd use it again at some point” Ikko had said), Ikko took out the extra futon and laid it next to his. His apartment was quite small, consisting only of kitchen, bathroom, living-slash-bedroom with a tiny hallway so they would be sleeping practically next to each other. It wouldn't be the first time though, and they had gotten used to sharing a room during Tenimyu.

”Do you need any clothes to sleep in?” Ikko called and got a muffled yes as an answer. He dug out a pair of old pajama bottoms and a t-shirt that he knew would be too big for Taito even if it was the smallest t-shirt Ikko owned. He gave them to Taito when he came out and Ikko went to brush his own teeth. He yawned sleepily while moving the brush and leaned against the sink. He still needed to set the alarm on before falling asleep.

Taito was already under his blanket when Ikko came out from the bathroom and Ikko turned off the light. The street lights from outside gave enough light for him to find his way without tripping over or stepping on anything. He walked silently to his futon, not wanting to disturb the other in case he was already sleeping and slipped under his own blanket. Setting the alarm clock next to his head, he yawned and took a comfortable position.

”Good night,” Ikko heard Taito say sleepily, and smiled. He could tell Taito was already more sleeping than awake. ”Good night,” he whispered back and closed his eye. He heard Taito's breathe calm down and become rhythmic and before Ikko himself knew it, he had fallen asleep too.
