He's so much fun. Having all the perviness right there out in the open is refreshing, as opposed to Dumbledore or something where it's all repressed until he lures you into his office with some kind of magical gummy bear or something and makes you touch his "phoenix."

Ryoma is wary, but relieved when the conversation focuses on tennis, and, later, after fish is caught and cooked, on Zen and the art of bicycle maintenance. LMAO! You have made a very vague reference to that stupid book I had to read last fall. +100000 points for that. XD (And in the event that this isn't a reference to 'Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance', plz to be ignoring me.)

But yes. This was amazing. One of those pairings that I said I'd never touch but lo and behold, I like this one. *__*

Thanks! My first thought when I saw the prompt was "oh, they could like, go fishing and Nanjiro could be a little pervy," but when I finally got around to writing it, there was a moment of sheer panic when I couldn't figure out if Nanjiro/Ryoma actually meant that someone was going to have sex with a 12 year-old.

Thankfully, I was able to avoid that.

And yep, the reference was totally on purpose, though I've never read it.
