Welcome to the service industry. Is it that surprising to have that kind of a job?

It's my first job on the business! I cleaned houses, but that doesn't count as a true service job.

Pretty much every job i've had has had something to do with service. Technically, I'm a salesman (at least that's what my day job is, right now), but there's a lot of service involved with that.

I haven't done food service for a while, but my first job was at a pizza place. I also worked as a room attendant at a hotel (in Yellowstone national park!) for a few months. Recently, I've thought about going to culinary school--working as a chef is hard, but i have a special attraction to the kitchen. T. can confirm that.

Já tirei um café, pus mesas, limpei chão, já servi uma festa de 17 putos. É um velho "anseio" de infância, e é divertido, apesar de muito cansativo. O ar pesado e estanque do Shopping e a quadratura dos colegas não ajuda muito à inspiração.

This is not that beautiful, though...
O dono do restaurante é um pulha sovina, rasco e desinteressado. O gerente é um amigo meu, que aproveitou vagas em dois postos para me salvar das garras do desemprego e sempre ganhar alguma coisa. Mas também sabe que o serviço será aprumado. :3

se precisas de um emprego, não há mal nenhum em trabalhar na restauração. até te pode inspirar ideias criativas, precisamente por ser tão quadrado. luta contra a maré :)
