I'm listening to JJ72's debut album, which I brought back from Nottingham since my mum's selling the house.

Like last year, I've realised what song I'll use for my christmas show already. I'm going to be angsty with mittens.

JJ72! When I was working at the sandwich shop in Brighton, this song that I loved came on the radio a few times. I couldn't make out any of the words, didn't know the title or the name of the artist, and my singing voice is dreadful so I couldn't even annoy the people in the record shop by humming the tune. I had a mental image of being driven mad by this song in my head that I could never quite get hold of. Next time it was on the radio, I refused to move until the DJ came back on to say "You've been listening to...." The song was Oxygen. It's still one of my favourites.

Wow I'd completely forgotten about that album...I played it non stop during my first year of A-Levels. I loved Algeria and Undercover Angel.
