Wow I have never seen a hockey game like that one before. Kelly might be on to something. That had so much energy and so much skill. Everyone played very well on both teams. Incredible. Great job 'Canes. 2-0. Keep it up.

but the hockey gods are against us. and my friend mariel is a bad luck charm to the devils. she literally left the room, we scored, came back, and the canes scored.

You people use the term "hockey gods" way too much. I heard it a dozen times between the second and third period. I think it was all that younger, blonde Canadian guy.

haha yeah...i'm not big into religion but the hockey gods TOTALLY exist. and damn did they hate us lol. i was telling my friend, a rangers fan, about how much the hockey gods must hate us and she was like "is that why you've won so many cups?"

usually when i'm home sick i just watch sportscenter all day but I refuse. i can't.

marty played a good game until the last 20.7 seconds when everyone on the ice for us stopped playing. And I can see you're becoming a hockey fan - Martin Brodeur is a household name.

He's a household name only if there are two hockey fans, or one really big one under one roof. I didn't know he existed until I started talking to you, and you babble about him like he's Jesus on skates. I did get the gist that he's been around forever and is probably the top goalie in the NHL. Still, we have a fairly good rookie in our net.
