I enjoyed the story a lot. The controversial nature of the night in question didn't offend me. Maybe because I don't see dubcon in the situation depicted in issue 1.

Apparently, there will be a lot of angst and heartbreak later - but, so far, I happily embrace Spike's possible paternity.

Honestly I didn't even think about the dub-con thing until I read Buffyforums. The way it was presented to me on my first reading was that it was a very drunk Buffy that had drunken sex with another drunken party goer...which I find pretty normal and OK.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yup, the more I think about it the best way for there to be maximum heartbreak and angst is for Spike to be the daddy (who doesn't know it). It's going to be good, no matter how the cookies crumble. Everyday I feel more positive about the comics. :)

The things are still cooking - February, 4, there will be another big demonstration against dirty elections, but I doubt that it could change anything. Putin will never give up his power. I still plan to go to the meeting, just because.

I just found out that Joss may visit Moscow in the end of April, during the promo tour of The Avengers. But he'll be here less than 24 hours so it's practically impossible to meet him and ask questions. And I have a lot of them! :))))

Maybe you will get to meet him though! Can you make it to the promo? But, yeah, I don't think he would be able to answer questions. I have a lot of them too. :)

This was great! I just got done with a 14 and a half hour work day, so I can't formulate a comment more complex than that at the moment, but this was exactly what I needed right now. :)

Daddy Spike or Step Daddy Spike is a bit of a kink of mine but not something I ever thought I would see in canon (if you consider the comics canon). There's a possibility there of either. I'm kind of hoping for a little girl. As long as he was around (whether he's the dad or not) I'd reckon he would spoil her rotten and be completely over protective guy.

Ha! Me too. I actual like baby!fic and domestic Spuffy since they make boring life seem not so boring.

I consider them almost/half canon? I can ignore them when I want to but since I love comics in general it's hard to completely ignore them... especially if Joss is involved.

I want to girl too! If they ever had one together! But I wouldn't mind a boy after the first was a girl. I totally agree about Spike spoiling her too! :)
