Dude, I totally agree that Miyavi is something special! The show was amazing, and stripping everything down like he did made it that much better. <3

I was just blown away the first time I saw him. It's like expecting this huge show, and instead you get this little intimate gathering of friends.

OMG, you have the setlist! YEEEEES! (This is ritzraff from youtube, by the way...you commented on my rambling thoughts about the show). THANK YOU! I was asking in miyabi_dear and last I checked, no response. YOU RULE!!! OH my god, thank you. :DDDD

It looks like you mostly post on Twitter? I'm imajical there; what's your username?

Thank you again for the setlist! :D

Well, I mostly post on twitter when I'm like....traveling lol. But I guess I still use it more than actual LJ and stuff. I'm Tennyo_Dalucia on twitter, though :)

Hehe, I've gotten pretty good at getting the setlists down, after 12 shows It's just editing the few songs he changes.

TWELVE SHOWS?! Good god, that ROCKS that you could afford to do that. :D

I'll add you. I tend to babble about my other obsessions (Tom Waits and Nick Cave...how does Miyavi fit in with them? Simple: my music tastes have no boundaries, and it's a beautiful thing). So yes, adding you to the Twitter. :-)

I just like the music i like. I LOVE Miyavi more than pretty much anyone in the entire world and would go to the ends of the earth for him. ...I mean I guess I kind of did go to Japan for 9 shows of the Neo Tokyo Samurai Black tour, plus the 3 over here...and that ended up costing me....*coughs* a lot.

Is the What's My Name thing just something he does live, do you know? I'm trying to make a playlist of the songs from the show.

And what are Ah Hah and Future from? Sorry, I know his songs when I hear them, titles not so much, and I don't have songs by those titles...were they new...?

Actually WHAT'S MY NAME/WHAT THE FUCK IS MY NAME is the new title of "My name is Oresama.com". So, it's that only re-worked to not have TYKO in it.

And Ah Hah and Future are new :) So they're not on anything yet, but will be on the new album this fall :)

Actually...I think Future is going to be the new single? God I wish I could remember what he said about that lol.

That helps a lot. Thank you! Can't wait for the new album. Every album has different elements, and I *love* that. I think I'm in the minority of his fans in that I don't follow j-rock; I just basically like his stuff. I tried getting into other j-rock, but mostly just latched onto him, hide, Daigo Stardust, and Phantasmagoria a bit. But when you've got MYV, what more do you need? ;-)

I had a hard time hearing what he said half the time, but I think it's cuz I was in the bar. I know he has his little accent, but yes. :D Thank you again!

Mmm, there's always more than Miyavi....he's just the top of every list ever. I do follow the J-rock thing, but I'm not necessarily a "Visual Kei" fan. I like some of it, and i dislike some of it, and I like bands from other places. And I like some of the bands that have bad names because of their teeny-bopper fans. Mostly I listen to Japanese music, because it is my favorite language in the whole world.

Plus both of my favorite bands are Japanese, and V Kei...but that is simply because they best fit the kind of music I like.

Most of the time I understand exactly what he said. But the problem with Miyavi is that he does tend to mumble. And I lied. I don't think Future is going to be the new single. I think it's going to be Revenge. Because he didn't mention that he was playing the new single every other time he played Future. And he didn't play Revenge at the other two shows.

Hi! I found your LJ through youtube. xD Was looking up Miyavi and found your reports. I was sad that the videos got cut at the end and was happy to see that you posted them on LJ. I love the way you expressed your feelings and felt the excitement and fun that you had through your words. Your reports helped me understand Miyavi and got to know his band members a little more.

I'm going to the Toronto concert and am super excited, it's my first time at a rock concert and I'm not sure what to expect. I hope I have as much fun as you did.

Thank you for sharing your experiences, I enjoyed reading them :D.
Would you have any more tips for a newbie?

Just remember Miyavi loves being a part of things with us and Keep an eye on his keyboardist. They want you to play along during some of the songs. Ekisentorikku otona, Shouri no V, and Are you Ready to Rock have Coba84 leading the shout outs.

But really, just go, have fun, and he's going to ROCK YOUR WORLD MAN.

Yeah. I just seems so far away!!!

But that's the spoiled me talking, really. I think it doesn't matter how many times you see him. I think you'll always want to see him again.
