Last night had a blackout right while finishing up some work on my computer and it pretty much lasted until I went to bed. Got up this morning to start my computer... my monitor blacked out while pc was still booting up. I turned my monitor on again, and every two seconds it would black out completely. Get a backup battery like one of the APS surge protectors. I used to have alot of blackouts and my computer would break. At least you didn't lose your computer like me 3 times.
