Now this isn't exactly a roommate horror story, just a rant. It's not like we're at each other throats or anything. Although if I wasn't as passive as I am perhaps the situation would be a little different.

It is *really* weird that he did that thing with the box of pasta. Crazy and not cool.

Yes, he is arrogant. It takes a lot to annoy me, but he has managed to get to me as well. I love it (read: do not love it) when he thinks he's right about something, but is actually just not understanding the conversation properly.

And his objectification of her might not be a completely possessive gesture; he really does love her, and he might well be putting her up on a pedestal and worshipping parts of her.

But yeah, totally weird that he expected you to do the cooking.

I don't doubt that they do love each other. It's mainly the objectification that I have issues with.
