I don't ship them, but I like them. I enjoy them and how confuzzled she makes him. And considering what a rabid Nine/Rose and Ten/Rose shipper I am...but well, Rose has her Doctor and I wrote a fic a while back to deal with my feelings of why it's okay for Eleven to move on, so I can justify enjoying Eleven and River.

You did? I must have missed it. What's the title? I'd be interested in reading it.Quite frankly, I am surprised that RS is growing on me like she is this season. I didn't like her in S4 with Ten. They had zero chemistry and I was still holding onto my D/R ship back then.
But, RS and Eleven are growing on me in their backwards love affair of sorts. It isn't quite D/R but it's nice to see the Doctor interact with a strong woman onscreen.
Ha, I don't think anyone would hate you or anything XD Personally, I don't see any real chemistry there between them at all (at least, not any natural chemistry) - that doesn't mean their dynamic isn't worth exploring and enjoying, though. Just. Not by me :P
But I've always thought it's a sad case in fandom when people get judged because of what they ship D:
Fandom is one big monstrous judgment especially when it comes to shipping. Sad but true.
I am surprised that I am growing to really love the 11/River interaction, but as more time passes and the Doctor begins to accept her, I find that I am too. That and Amy left me lacking after the first episode.
Hopefully, Moff man will step her character up a bit next season since she wasn't dumped back on Earth. Heh. I'm awful. hahaha :D
I don't really know if I will continue to watch DW... I didn't enjoy this season and I really loathe River.
Now that she will probably be a constant companion in the future, I don't think I can watch it. And while I thought Matt's Doctor was good in some scenes (funny ones mostly), he really disappointed me in those where it really counts (meeting the Daleks for example, or his speech to the alien races). I keep comparing him to Christopher and David and I just can't accept him :(
All in all, I think DW is slowly dying for me...but at least I've got four seasons and a few specials to re-watch (and the never dying hope of Billie and David doing a Pete's world movie/series :PP)
I don't really know if I will continue to watch DW...
I have moments like that, too. I have several eps on my DVR waiting for me to find the time to watch them. The truth is that I would rather wash my hair repeatedly before I sit down and catch up with this season. *sigh* I hope I eventually give over my disinterest.

I guess I *want* to like MS as Eleven so that I don't walk away from the show. So, I watch and continue to hope for the best.
