Linda sighed as she walked down the crowded halls of Tenshi High. Her mind was filled with thoughts from Philosophy class. She always liked a challenge, whether it was with opinions on morals or ethics or when it came to being with someone she liked and maybe even love one day. She lowered her chin closer to chest as she smiled with the thought that Mister Derrick liked her Valentine. 'Yet,' she started to think as she raised her head again with a more concerned look on her face, 'I wonder what that means...'
Linda found herself walking into her favorite teacher's classroom and stopped. "Hm? ...I need to pay more attention to where I'm going." Linda shook her head in embarrassment and turned to walk out again but was stopped when she felt a hand grip her shoulder.
Mister Derrick spun her around and pinned her to the wall with a hint of a mischievous gleam in his eyes. Linda could feel her face turning red as she started to lose herself in the moment...
"Hello?" Chochi said to snap Linda back to reality.
"Huh?" Linda said unwillingly returning from her daydream.
"Linda, you've been just turning the combination wheel on your locker for the past couple minutes. If you can't figure out how to open it by now then I may have to take you to see the nurse."
"Oh! ...I'm fine. Don't worry." Linda smiled to reassure her friend that she was fully awake again. "I'll see you later. I've got a few things to do."
Chochi shook her head, "More practicing? Which is it this time? Music or more volleyball?"
Linda laughed a bit, "Music. I've been studying through Mozart's Requiem." Linda said over her shoulder as she began to walk quickly towards the Music Room.
She opened the door to the storage room, a.k.a. a makeshift practice and study for her to go over music during her free time she may have during the school days or after school when she's not busy with volleyball practice. Linda closed the door behind her and ran her fingers over the keys of then older piano in the small room. It may be old but at least she was still able to tune it and it was playable. She sighed as she opened a piece of music and realized exactly how much she "fit in" here. It was the same before at her old school, not quite as bad since she at least knew everyone before. But she still had trouble finding friends that enjoyed the passion that she had for music. Sure, Linda put all she could into volleyball as well but not as much so as music. She hung out with the other students but normally stayed quiet either working on school work or studying a new and interesting piece of music.
'Maybe I should change and put away my studies just for a while at least. Its taken too much of my life as it is and I feel like I've missed out so much.' Linda closed the music book and exited the small room trying to think of where to start. She knew where everyone hung out at but it'd be weird to just show up and jump in, wouldn't it?
We shall see...
Sorry its not all that long. I meant to make it longer but since its due today and I'm pulling a double shift at work most likely I wouldn't have had time to add to it (I've been typing on it for about a week now when I get the time).
