She walked off to get away from Soren, she sighed walking back into the school, she turned quickly around a corner smacking right into Yuusei, she staggers back and looks at her. She sighs softly as Yuusei notices that she was about to cry, she places a hand on her shoulder and asks, " What is wrong Miya?"
Miya shrugs, as she shakes her head, starting to walk off, " Nothing is the matter, just got something in my eye."
She darts off, not wanting anyone to keep up with her but she only crashed into Gene as she tried to get away from Yuusei. Gene catches her in his arms and holds her up, she knew his arms were safe so she started to cry. Gene pushed her up and then hugged her as he said, " What is wrong Miya?"
Miya shakes her head as she pushes herself away, " Nothing Gene, I have something in my eye."
" Oh please! I have heard that one before, what is really wrong?"
Miya looks down slightly, wiping away her own tears, " Its just this stupid holiday! I am all alone and everyone has there someone. You have Chi, Sachi has whoever she wants, Lani has Hedaki. The only one of us that really is alone is like Chochi and me. Which it royally sucks if I dont mind adding."
Gene chuckles as he leans against the wall, " What about you and Soren?"
" What about us? He has like all the girls swooning at his feet, why would a nobody like me even matter?"
Gene shakes his head softly, looking to the side, " Yeah maybe so, but your pretty and smart and you have a lot going for you, so why not pick you?"
" The same reason why not he should pick someone else, but I rather not talk about it, because its not going to happen."
Miya starts to storm off, to get ready for her next class, lunch was almost over. She quickly went to her locker and opened it and grabbed her pencils and artbox, closing the door turning around to see Soren stand in front of her, she rolled her eyes and slipped past him he then said, " Ummm is there something wrong Miya?"
Miya looks at Soren and shakes her head, " No, I just dont want to be late for art."
" Well you know you have over five minutes to walk down the hallway so why not take your time."
She rolls her eyes slightly as she sighs, " There isnt anything wrong and I really need to get to class, so what if it is early I just have a lot of catching up too do."
She pushed past him, leaving him in his tracks, he started to walk after her, only to walk into Gene, Gene looks at the pissed of Miya and then to Soren and says, " You really did a number on her whatever you said to her."
Soren looks at Gene shocked himself, " Ummm I didnt say anything to her to make her mad. I mean I told her she was pretty and asked if she was going to the dance and then she walked off."
" Are you sure that is all you said? " looking over at Miya who has disappered into the art classroom.
Soren pulls out the Valentine's invite and shows Gene, " She sort of left this for me."
Gene looks at the invite and slugs Soren on the upper arm, " Man you lucky dog, how many of those do you got now?"
Soren shrugs, " Probably about eight..."
" Eight?!?!?!?!? How did you out do me, I only have four! Jesus that is not fair! So which invite you going to cash in, becuase which ever it is give me the rest, too boost my ego."
Soren looks at Gene a little disgusted, " What about Chi?"
" What about her? I mean just because I have a lot of invites doesnt change the fact that I like her. So yeah who are you going to cash in on?"
Soren shrugs, " I don't know yet, I mean all the girls here are pretty and smart and well have everything I am looking for...but I dont know I think Miya really likes me, and well you know I dont want to crush her because I choose someone else..."
Gene nods his head lightly, " Yeah, I mean I love Miya with all my heart and soul she is my best friend, but she will get over it eventually. So what are you gonna do?" he looks at Soren waiting for the answer.
