She runs down the hallways crying, she pushes open the school doors and runs off campus, Gene after kissing Chi goodbye sees Miya running off with a passion, he doesnt bother going after her, he just knows he will catch up with her later.
She runs down the road, breaking a sweat trying to get home as soon as possible, she was so sad and so angry at the same time, she busted into her house and darted to her room, falling on her bed as she cried her eyes out, til she fell asleep.
Miya finally awoke after taking a small hour nap, she sighed softly knowing she still had to go to the mall to buy a dress, she wasnt going to let some stupid boy break her up because he likes Lani more.
She strips out of her school uniform and dresses into something a little more comfortable and her. She pulled over her head a white tank top, slipping also into a vintage olive green blazer. She dug around her closet pulling out blue faded low rise jeans and easy slipped into them, she was ready to go dress shopping.
She walks downstairs heading out, to see Gene in front of her house with his suped up car, she rolls her eyes and said, " What are you doing here Gene?"
Gene shrugs, " I dont know, I mean I knew you had to go to the mall today and well I was suppose to go with you and all, but then Chi asked if she could meet me there to help her buy a dress, so why no take you so you dont have to walk."
Miya rolls her eyes, " I rather walk thank you, I need the excerise."
Gene rolls his eyes right back at her and answers to her, " Okay besides all what I said, I saw you leaving school in a hurry and crying and I wanted to talk to you about it, so dont make this difficult...just get in the car before I make you."
Miya sighs knowing he would force her in the car, she walked to the passenger side, getting it as Gene got into the driver side, starting the car and heading to the mall, watching the road he asks Miya, " So what has you so upset?"
Miya sighs looking out the window, " Soren...that is what. I should of know I wasnt his type."
Gene looks over to Miya, " What do you mean? How do you know that?"
Miya sighs looking over to Gene, " I saw him and Lani in the gym, and lets just say Lani is his date for the dance."
" What?!?!?! No way! I so thought he was going to pick you! He talks about liking you all the time to me, jesus what total slime."
Miya narrows her eyes at Gene as she looks out the window, " Well it doesnt matter, I will get over Soren eventually and then move on to someone who isnt such slime. Maybe someone from a rival school, because the guys at Tenshi are sooo cruel to us girls, expect for you and the Chi thing, that is a total sweet factor."
Gene nods, " Yeah I know how to treat a lady, so your still going to the dance?"
Miya nods softly, " Yeah, just because Soren is a ass and I am dateless I am gonna go, have fun with the girls and party and celebrate the single life."
Gene chuckles softly pulling into a parking spot at the mall, " Well you do that."
They both got out the car and headed into the mall, Gene speaking, " Well I will meet you later, Chi and I have dress shopping to do, and well I will find you, there isnt that many dress stores in the mall."
Miya nodded as she went her separate ways. Gene ended up finding Chi in the food court sitting at a table chatting it up with Sachi and Soren. Gene narrows his eyes at Soren as he walks over to him and shouts out, " Dude when I said dont pick Miya I didnt mean crush Miya into a million pieces!"
Soren looks up at Gene confused slightly as he asks Gene what he is talking about, " What in hell are you talking about Gene?"
Gene looks the other way and then back at Soren, " Dont play stupid Soren, I know about you asking Lani out, sure its cold, but gosh you need to ask a person out where other people like Miya wont see it happening."
Soren's eyes widen slightly, he didnt know she saw that, then he looks at Gene and shakes his head, " I didnt ask Lani out."
Gene looks confused, " You didnt? Well did she ask you out?"
Soren shakes his head, " No, I was practicing to ask someone else out."
Gene slaps his forehead as he says, " Well you better tell Miya that, because she is totally pissed."
Soren slaps his forehead too, " Damn it! Fine take me too her."
Gene looks at Chi and says, " In the name of love I have to do this, but I will be back I promise."
Chi nods letting Gene and Soren look for Miya.
Gene and Soren walk into every dress store having no luck, just before they were about to give up they walk into one more store, finding Miya. Both Gene and Soren's mouth drop to the floor as they see Miya in her dress.
Miya turns around in her strapless white gown kissed onto her every endowed feature, her long black curls was lying on her shoulders, she had a sad expression on her face, but in the simple sad expression she was still striking with a stunninh beauty.
Gene looks at Soren only to hear him whispered softly, " Damn..."
She looks at Soren and then Gene and barks out, " Would you stop staring at me and say something..."
Gene shooks his head getting free of the Miya spell, " Hey sorry you just look so beautiful. Ummmm yeah Soren has to talk to you."
Gene pats Soren on the back and runs off.
Miya looks at Soren waiting for him to say something, only her to bark at him, " What do you want Soren?!?!?!?"
