I don't think my Dad would ever pay me to babysit my half-brother and I prefer money over any "thoughtful gift" from my relatives because those don't exist...except for maybe 2 people. I HATE gift cards T.T...and I guess x-mad cards too...only I like the money...lol

I used to have to babysit my nephew all the time and never got paid. It used to piss me off at the time but now that I'm older I don't really care - he's family, you know? Any other little bastards can go to hell.

Anyway...

Traditionally Christmas cards are meant to be hung on a piece of string and either hung on the tree or mounted on the wall. The sentiment behind it is that people who can't be there with you on Christmas can still add to the holiday warmth in your home. Any money that is sent to us goes toward buying the person who sent the card a gift but that's just a personal choice.

I guess I just don't feel a strong enough attatchment to my half-brother to want to make an exception like that toward him.

And I suppose I should be a little more specific about my hatred toward cards. I just seems thoughtless to be a Hallmark card and then only right "Dear So-and-so..." and "From So-and-so..." If one where to actually write the meat of the card, then it might actually show some real considerate thought.
