Yeah, I saw a video about that turtle which has a better picture and it looks more like a goat head. I saw the dragons thing, too. What did you think of it. I got tired of the same intro over and over again and all of the what if stuff...I would have liked it if they delved a bit more into different culture's interpretation of dragons and the history of our creation of the dragon "myth"...
You don't seem to realize the purpose of the show. The whole point was to show a believable explanation of dragons existing in the past. What would dragons have been like if they were real?
I saw the preview to that thing and it looked atrocious. Almost as bad as those "Walking with Dinosaurs" shows. I don't think it's fitting of the Discovery channel to spend time and money on something as silly as the biology behind mythical creatures. Leave that to D&D.
Anyway, I can see why people said it looks like the devil. It looks like the head of Baphomet (which most people don't realize is female).
Though, wasn't Baphomet an idol of the Knights Templar? Well, if nothing else, they were accused of worshipping Baphomet.
As for the dragons thing, well, it was Animal Planet's little fiction-fest. I don't know what connection Animal Planet has with the Discovery Channel.
Aside from that, if its really so unfitting for someone to make a program about mythical creatures, such as dragons, wouldn't it be comparably unfitting for anyone to produce anything on any fictional creatures?
Why write books or make TV programs about angels, vampires, dragons, etc. if they never existed? The fact of the matter is some people are interested in those things, whether you are or not.
