I received a call this morning from SFC Roach, informing me that our unit was being placed on Alert status until 12am tonight. The 384th was acting as Indiana's QRF for the day. QRF stands for "Quick Response Force." Basically that means had anything happened in Indiana today, such as an attack. I would have been up there at the frontlines. Now,
