The bizarre thing is, the ruling was made in order to not be "judicial activists", a charge often made by conservatives. In order to behave in a manner that would please the conservatives, they were forced to make a ruling that ultimately trumped the conservative ideals. George Will said it best here.

At any rate, liberal (that's me!) or conservative, this is a raw deal for America.

Well we are the ones that made them rich. If we didnt buy, watch or want what they had or their services then they wouldn't have the money. Doesn't mean what they are doing is right.
