Tarot cards!
I need to show you this set of cards i bought at a chinese convention. it was just done in ink, but really awesome imo. Though probably a little messy.

Hmm, for the fool, doesn't he need to look like he is on a journey and in a dangerous situation (classically like walking down a cliff)? orz at myself for knowing the symbolism in tarot cards....

Reallyyyy cool! I wanna see.

YEAH HE DOES HAHA. But I don't know how to do that without making him look like an explorer... and he has to look modern. Like that first guy, I gave him a backpack and stuff and he looks like he's on his way to baseball practice. xD It's okay! The guy gave me a tarot deck to learn it too. His plan is to make a comic of all the tarot stories and he has his own story for it too... yeah.

Dragons are known for their ferocious nature and great size but in time, man had domesticated them, using them as mounts and the like. Once man had traversed the Atlantic with dragons among the cargo, a few dragons strayed and thrived in the Americas much like the Spaniard horses.

The story takes place in the Great Plains where the dragon herders live. Rose, blind from birth, is familiar with the beasts aside from knowing what they look like. Mungo, the new cowhand, dreams about heading further west - past the Rockies where his big brother disappeared to in search of grand adventure. When the ranch goes up in flames one night and Rose's father is lost, Mungo takes Rose in as a sister. Together, with only each other and a few dragons to their name, they head west.

I'm tired. I'll make up something cool later. XD

T-that is AMAZING. OMG... wow. I LIKE IT SO MUCH. I was thinking something along the lines of Dragon slavery. They also have a girl dragon with them that I have yet to name. And uh if Rose and Mungo are too dorky we can change it. xD

Has anyone told you lately how awesome you and your drawings are?

Again, a whole heap of sketches that ooze talent and scream sexiness. Since there's Sabriel work here, I'll have to comment on those-I really like your rendition of Sabriel and Touchstone. I especially like the pattern of keys that adorn her clothes, and the bells are all present and correct.. The Sabriel in school uniform is a nice addition, too. The Fool idea is really interesting, and I love the hoodie, fused with a jester hat. I'd like to see that Tarot card theme developed a little more.
Mungo and Rose look cool, and would be fun to cosplay! There's always room in my heart for more LoZ love, so your cute Link and Zelda pics round off this lot perfectly.

All in all...

Gosh, you sure done did some purdy drawings, miss!

Oh, you!

There's only 5 bells there but you just can't see the other 2... really. xD The cover of my Sabriel book shows a girl with long flowing black hair (the book clearly says "fashionable bob") and an ill-fitting frock with tiny keys on it. When I saw it, I was like "nuh uh, girlfriend" and gave her a makeover. Also glad you liked school girl Sabriel. :D I have this lurking feeling that Sabriel's going to be turned into a movie soon and it will either be amazing or an utter failure.

Well, more Tarot Card characters will definitely turn up as the project I'm working on progresses (hopefully). xD Yayyy Mungo and Rose are loved! They are happy too. :D

Link and Zelda are like my hidden muse that come out to play when my current muse is exhausted, so there will be more. :D

Oh and I got your e-mail and will reply as soon as I'm done moving into my dorm tomorrow.

Well, you offer your fair share of compliments yourself you know.

A brief look at the Wikipedia page for Sabriel suggests that a film could indeed be in the works, and while it's one of my favourite books, I would hate to see it turned into a film. It'll cease to be a fantasy novel and will become a franchise. *shudders* If it happens to be amazing, at least we'll be among those who read the book before the film, and not those annoying fanboys who jump on the bandwagon AFTER seeing the film. And even pretend they were fans all along!

Yay for more Tarot Cards and Zelda! And thanks for letting me know, I can't wait to hear from you.
