Random anime reviews! (so far this season anyway)

And before you read my horribly biased, flighty fangirlings thoughts about what I've seen so far this season, you should go visit Derailed by Darry, an anime blog I find highly amusing. It was especially fun watching Code Geass R2 with his reviews. :)

So series I'm following this season:

Haha well, I support the philosophy of watching things for the lulz, as they say. xD World Destruction ended up being cool solely because Toppi (the stuffed bear) ended up being the character with the most balls. But Kannagi is quiet wonderful! :D It really makes me happy.

Earl and Fairy is mighty cute XD oh Raven I love thee let me count all the ways...

who does Maaya play in Kuroshitsuji? I love the fact there are two animes out this season that have Victorian-esque settings.

Oh Raven is quite yummy. :D I know if I were Lydia I'd probably ogle him twice as much... xD;

Ciel (aka Shota-bait)! :D I thought they'd have some of the more seasoned cross-seiyuu be him (Kobayashi Sanae maybe) but it's Maaya~ &hearts

Yeah, it's pretty cool! There usually isn't much Victorian-esque stuff out.

she plays Ciel?! I was just commenting on how Ciel's voice made me want to just love him to death and how I don't normally fall for 12 year old boys...but now it makes sense. Maaya always manages to make me fall for her characters. She does a really good job, I have to say I didn't even realize it was a cross-seiyuu (now if you had told me that the servant with the hairclips, the blond dude who's a gardener, was Maaya it would have made more sense...).

ahh Raven. I thought for a bit Lydia would be going for Raven, since you know he seems less insincere then his master, but then I remembered 'wait! typical shoujo!' and instead thought of ways to make Raven mine XD

i'm gonna start hoping they bring the Earl&Fairy light novels to America (futile I know) and the Kuroshitsuji manga to America (I think that is more likely...)

Yeahhh, so cool! :D She is quite good in a non-showy way. Usually she does play random side people but since Ouran, she's definitely had more main roles. I'm not completely in love with Ciel yet but I've only seen one episode so I'm sure it'll happen soon haha.

Raven is just... such a typical dark name. xD Oh Lydia is a typical shoujo all right lol.

They might! It seems like both these series are quite popular this season.

I'd have to agree with Xam'd reminding me of a cross b/w Eureka 7 and Last Exile. That one girl on the ship reminds me of the main girl in Nausicaa.

Kuroshitsuji is...SO WEIRD, LOL. It's got all these dark, horror-ish undertones and then BAM THERE'S CHIBIS AND CRACK. Oh boy. XD;

Might check out CHAOS;Head and Kurozuka.

Truedat. Also, recent events (ep 13) have been reminding me of Code Geass, although much much less crack-filled. xD;

Yeah, it does seem like that. I feel like the three PHAIL servants don't fit at all. xD But then again, I haven't seen past ep 1.

Oooh CHAOS;Head is pretty unique, I think. It has some real nice animation sometimes too. Cosplay from it with meeee :D

Kurozuka's a nice period-piece to watch along with all these other series. :)

...I just looked thru CHAOS;Head's site. Omg, it looks so weird. XD It's like purdy shoujo-ish characters and there's like blood, gore and a girl with a SPIKY PINK BAT, WTF. LOL. Rly? XD

Kurozuka on the other hand...I think I will watch. It looks purdy, y'know minus the flying limbs and such, haha. :o

Kannagi has to be one of my favorites from this season along with the returning series that I'm watching. and yeah, it's so crack in a good way and I love Nagi's interactions with Jin and the last episode was set in a maid cafe and I was cracking up so hard. definately one of the better series this year.

Oh oh episode 6 has GOT to be my favorite so far, although every episode has been pretty good. :D It's just really well done and cute! I'm glad someone else is watching it! I do feel pretty bad for Tsugumi though. :(
